From the moment the battery is inserted into the charger, the timer identifies charge in progress time. It automatically applies and displays the proper rate of current for charging a particular battery. Charge progress is displayed in mAh as well as with a graphic fuel guage. The internal temperature is monitored and displayed. Internal battery temperature is a key element in maximizing charge and protecting the battery from abuse. It will display the charge voltage of the battery throughout the charge. Should the charge terminate for an abnormal temperature condition, it will display the temperature and reduce the charge rate to an ultra low level to minimize potential damage to the battery.
During the condition "REFRESH" mode, the controlled discharge rate of the battery is displayed during the refresh cycle. The LCD panel displays the refresh in progress time.
Push "MODE" button to sequentially step through analysis readouts. Push "REFRESH" at conclusion of charge cycle to start battery conditioning and analysis.
After completion of charge and at the conclusion of the refresh cycle, it displays the true capacity of the battery pack in mAh. This information permits comparision of the original capacity rating to that of the battery's current health.
Re-Charge Cycle: Total charge time is displayed throughout charge cycle and at charge termination. At completion of the fast charge, the unit applies a trickle charge to top off the battery.
